Plans reviewed inside a house under construction before interior work begins

Building a House? Plan the interior before construction

An interior design project helps you make key decisions on time, before they become costly changes on site.

Why isn’t the architectural plan enough?

The architectural plan shows the structure.

The interior design project shows how you will live in the house: furniture, electrical points, lighting, storage and custom-made pieces.

If the walls or electrics are already in progress, we start from what exists.

How does the project work?

The project follows the real order of construction, so each decision is ready before it is needed on site.

Less improvisation. More control.

Before Utilities

Before the electrician and plumber start their routes, we need to know how each room will be used. That’s why we start with the furniture layout, not the sockets.

Furniture Layout

We define the position of the main elements: bed, sofa, kitchen furniture, dining table, wardrobes, sanitary fixtures and walls.

You receive: a 2D plan with furniture placement and room organisation.

Before Ordering Finishes

Before ordering tiles, flooring or key pieces, you need to see how everything works together. Renders and technical plans help you decide clearly, not under pressure on site.

Photorealistic Renders

We build the rooms in 3D, set the right direction and refine the design based on your feedback.

You receive: photorealistic images of the final design, from several angles.

Before Furnishing the House

When the house is almost ready, decisions move to furniture, lighting, textiles and decor. At this stage, we detail what is custom-made and what needs to be bought.

Furniture Sketches

We detail the custom-made pieces: internal layout, dimensions, fronts, finishes and key details.

You receive: furniture sketches you can send to suppliers for quotes.

How involved do you want me to be during implementation?

The interior design project has the same price, whichever level you choose. The difference is whether you need only the project deliverables, or support during implementation as well.

Project + Supervision

Support at key stages

For you if you want guidance when the site reaches important decisions.

You receive: the interior design project + support by video call or site visits at key stages, such as electrics, finishes or furniture.

Cost: project price + €79/hour for video calls, taxes included. Site visits and travel are calculated separately, depending on location.

Turnkey

Full coordination

For you if you want full coordination of the project, suppliers and execution until completion.

You receive: the interior design project + coordination of the site, suppliers, furniture, orders and installation.

Cost: project price + monthly fee, based on site location and required level of involvement.

Note:

For a house under construction, supervision and turnkey support are most useful when the site is active and decisions move quickly.

Execution costs are calculated separately, so you can clearly see what you pay for: design, support, site visits and travel.

Interior Design Cost & Timeline

The price is calculated per room, based on the interior design stages you need. You can start with the layout plan and add the next stages as the project develops.

What Counts as a Room?

A “room” means each functional space in the home: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or hallway.

Example Cost

For a house with 7 functional spaces — living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and hallway — a full interior design project comes to €3,381.

This includes: layout plan, electrical and plumbing plans, 3D renders, technical plans, quantity table, custom furniture sketches and shopping list.

For your home, the final cost is confirmed before we start, based on the number of rooms and the stages you choose.

Important

Timeline matters. The 3D design and rendering stage can take 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the number of rooms and revisions.

That is why it is better to start before the site needs final decisions on finishes, furniture or orders

The first step is the furniture layout plan.

3. Book the online meeting.

FAQ — Interior Design for a House Under Construction

1. Why don’t we start directly with the socket plan? A correct socket plan starts from the furniture layout. First, we define where the furniture, appliances, sanitary fixtures and main zones go. Then we can plan sockets, lighting, switches and power supplies. A correct socket plan starts from the furniture layout. First, we define where the furniture, appliances, sanitary fixtures and main zones go. Then we can plan sockets, lighting, switches and power supplies.

2. What is a furniture layout plan? A furniture layout plan shows how each room is organised. It can include furniture placement, sanitary fixtures, storage and, if needed, layout or wall-position options.

3. Why do I need 3D before the final technical plans? You need 3D to see the design before it becomes site instructions. Plans can make a room look larger than it is. In 3D, you see real proportions, finishes, lighting, furniture and key details before costly changes happen on site.

4. Do you work with my architect’s plans? Yes. Your architect’s plans are the starting point. I use them to develop the interior: layout, technical positions, 3D renders, execution plans, quantities, custom furniture sketches and shopping lists.

5. When is the best time to start? The best time to start is before the electrical stage and before ordering finishes. Renders, tile layouts, quantities and technical plans can take a few weeks, so it is better to decide before the site needs final answers.

6. Can we start if construction has already begun? Yes. We can start from the current stage of the house. If walls are already built or contractors need electrical, plumbing or finish decisions, we work with what exists and define the next steps.

7. Can I work with you if the house is in another city or country? Yes. The interior design project can be delivered online, wherever the house is located. You receive layouts, plans, renders and lists based on the plans you send and our video calls. Site supervision or coordination is added separately, depending on location.

8. Can I start only with the layout? Yes. You can start with the furniture layout plan at €49 / room. You choose the number of rooms, send the plans and brief, then receive 2–3 layout options discussed together online.

9. What counts as a “room” for pricing? A “room” means each functional space: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or hallway. The price depends on the number of spaces and the project stages you choose.

10. How much does a full interior design project cost? The cost depends on the number of rooms and selected stages. Prices are per room: layout €49, electrical and plumbing plans €49, 3D renders €249, technical plans €29, quantities and budget €29, custom furniture sketches €49 and shopping list €29. For a house with 7 functional spaces, a full project is approximately €3,381.

11. Do you also supervise or coordinate the site? Yes. You can choose project only, project with supervision or turnkey coordination. The design project has the same price per room, while implementation support is added separately: video calls at €79/hour, site visits based on location or a monthly fee for full coordination.
